Financial Integrity: Your Money AND Your LifeCreate a relationship with money that's clear, empowered, purposeful, and free of stress A Webinar (Web Seminar) with Alan Seid
6 sessions that meet on the first Monday of each month (September will be the 2nd Monday)
Mondays, May 3, 2010 - October 4, 2010 3:00 - 4:30 PM PDT (10:00 PM GMT)
Investment: $250.00 USD
In this course we will study the FI Program that was created by Joe Dominguez and popularized by him and co-author Vicki Robin in the book Your Money or Your Life, a personal-finance-with-values best-seller for over 15 years. FI stands for Financial Intelligence, Financial Integrity and Financial Independence.
The purpose of the Financial Integrity Program is to create a relationship with money that is clear, empowered and non-stressful, in which money plays a purposeful role in helping us create our ideal life, rather than unconsciously undermining our ability to achieve our dreams, goals and ideals.
In this course we will look at all three focus areas of the FI program, Financial Intelligence, Financial Integrity and Financial Independence, with a particular emphasis on Financial Integrity.
The FI Program is consistent with strategies involving alternative currencies, barter, and trade.
We will look at the concept of "enough" and have the opportunity of defining it for ourselves using this extraordinary tool.
Take this course and you will: - discover and begin applying a fantastic tool for creating a clear, empowered, and purposeful relationship with money - align your money and your life - discover and surface your particular "issues" with money in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment - learn a process for effectively navigating our culture --which is confused and confusing when it comes to money-- with clarity and skill - learn the secret for discovering your enough point - a dynamic place of sufficiency, fulfillment, and integrity in relation to money
Alan Seid has been applying the FI Program since 1992 when he was in his early twenties. In 1993 he met Vicki Robin and Joe Dominguez who became mentors to him and his partner, Tricia. He began teaching the FI Program in 1994, when he became one of the earliest, and the youngest, member of New Road Map Foundation's Speakers Bureau. Since then he has taught the program hundreds of times to varied audiences including business and nonprofit groups, as well as to high school and college students. Alan is widely regarded as an authority on this topic.

What others are saying about Alan Seid and our Workshops:
|
| "Alan’s NVC workshop takes communication skills to a whole new level!" - Carl Oekerman, Instructor of Interpersonal Communications, Bellingham Technical College,
Fall 2008 NVC Series Participant
|
| "Alan is stellar at what he does!" - Rick Dubrow, local business leader and sustainability advocate
|
| "The interpersonal dynamics of our store were
transformed by the NVC workshop that Alan led. The result is that our
workplace culture is more harmonious and positive than ever before." - Stephen Trinkaus, Owner & General Manager, Terra Organica
|
| "The
structures of our thinking and our language are rooted in a power-over
world view. Nonviolent Communication gives tools and practices to help
us reframe our communication within a win-win, power-with worldview. It
goes way beyond resolving conflicts. Alan presents this work with great
skill, fun and compassion." - Angela MacLeod, CTM Workshops Co-Producer, NVC Learning Series Participant Fall 2007 and 2008
|
| "I have very high regard for Alan. My opinion is that he
knows his stuff backwards and forwards, is creative in synthesizing
understandings, and lives with ENORMOUS integrity. I find him to be
very inspiring - and am encouraged that he represents the best of the
next generation." - Lucy Leu, CNVC Certified Trainer, Former President of the Board, Center for Nonviolent Communication, Author, Nonviolent Communication Companion Workbook: A Practical Guide for Individual, Group or Classroom Study
|
|
"We
have had other facilitators in the past and Alan is the first facilitator
who combined so many depths of disciplines... each student was profoundly
altered by their experience. Many
of them had breakthroughs in their communication with their friends and
family in only 2 days of workshops.
Alan's timing, innate ability to
disseminate the NVC model was the clearest and deepest I have ever
experienced. We progressed further into
this work than ever before. He truly
embodies NVC principles and lives them in his every day life. He is a master at what he does and his
ability to mediate and resolve conflict is phenomenal.
I highly recommend Alan to any
group… I have been personally impacted, and the insights and breakthroughs in my
own life keep unfolding." - Myra Murphy Jacob Founder and National Executive Director Sustainable Global Leadership Alliance www.sgla.org
|
| "When I debriefed the staff at my retirement, to a
person they strongly indicated that the Empowered Communication (NVC)
training was the most useful, both professionally and personally, of
anything we had done during their time there. It was clear after the
first training that there was a real positive shift in how people in
the office interacted. I highly recommend Alan’s NVC trainings in an
office setting." - Tom Anderson, General Manager, retired Public Utility District #1 of Whatcom County
|
| "Finally I got
it down! Alan has been instrumental in helping me retrain my perception
and communication away from what had become self-destructive thought
patterns and practices, most especially with my wife. In his 24-hour
course and in couples coaching, he has helped us save our own marriage
from resentment, anger, and regular communication disconnection". - Jason Darling, Re-Sources for Sustainable Communities, Fall 2008 NVC Series Participant
|
| "Alan, I was glad to have found the time (even at
the last minute) to sit down and have a conversation with you about
your work. You obviously love your work, and that love infuses what you
do. In my experience, this is true for all great teachers and
unsubstitutable." - Laird Schaub, Facilitator and Facilitation Trainer; Executive Secretary, Fellowship for Intentional Community (FIC)
